- tread chord width
- the distance measured parallel to the spin axis of an unloaded tire between one edge of the tread and the other. For tires with rounded tread edges, the point of measurement is that point in space which is at the intersection of the tread radius extended until it meets the prolongation of the upper sidewall contour.
